SunPower Corporation today announced that Etrion Corporation, an independent solar power producer, has signed a euro 48 million definitive sale and purchase agreement to acquire the equity in the first two phases of the Montalto di Castro solar photovoltaic power park.

Prague, Czech Republic: Photon Energy to Build 7.61 MWp PV Power Plant. Photon Energy’s fully-owned subsidiary Photon Engineering s.r.o. signed on Friday an EPC contract with OHL ŽS, a.s. for the turn-key construction of a 7.61 MWp photovoltaic power plant in Brno-Tuøany, Czech Republic.

Freiburg, Germany: S.A.G. Solarstrom Plans 48 MW Ground Mounted Project. Freiburg based, S.A.G. Solarstrom AG is to set up one of the largest connected ground-mounted projects in northern Italy in the region of Veneto. Construction will start before the end of 2010.

Hamburg, Germany: Colexon Constructs 7.2 MW of PV Systems in Czech Republic. In May of this year, Colexon started construction of a 7.2 MWp solar project portfolio in the Czech Republic. The systems are being installed in the Czech cities Mimon, Tocnik and Lomecek.

Paris, France: Enerqos Starts Construction on 290 kW BIPV System. Enerqos France SAS has begun construction of a building-integrated photovoltaic system (BIPV). This new installation, with a maximum power output of 290 kWp.
